In Orion’s belt

Stars are perfectly aligned

Mocking our talents

 

Written in February 2018: I imagine I was walking home from the library one night and noticed everyone’s favorite constellation, Orion, in the Williamsburg night sky. Feeling playfully frustrated with my schoolwork, I wrote this poem before falling asleep.
